Food: Too Good to Waste

Food - Too Good to Waste. One third of all food produced goes to waste. This uneaten food is responsible for about 8 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. Please join us as we learn innovative ways to reduce food waste and help reverse climate change, and save money to boot.

We are fortunate to have four excellent and knowledgeable speakers:

Lorig Charkoudian, District 20 Maryland State Delegate; Alison Bauer, Field Marketing Manager of Hungry Harvest; Lauren Goldberg, Executive Director of Crossroads Community Food Network and Gina Mathias, Takoma Park Sustainability Manager.
