Ms. Fisher will discuss home care services available both through the county and private agencies in Montgomery County; available caregiver supports including education, support groups, respite, transportation, and adult day programs; how to navigate finding home care; and the role of the Adult Protective Services program and when and how to contact them. Ms. Cathy Surace, Esq., retired attorney for Disability Rights Maryland, will briefly discuss the role of Medicaid and Medicare.
