Aging Well: Exercise for Health and Well-being

What:
We all know we should exercise regularly. But how many realize that systematic physical activity is the most important thing you can do to improve and maintain health? Did you know that exercise improves mood and appears to boost brainpower? The good news: you don’t have to be a triathlete to benefit from exercise. The bad news: sometimes it’s hard to summon up the energy and motivation to get up out of that chair. If you wait until you feel like it, well—-it just might not happen.

Presenters:
Norah McDonald and Hellen Beard, fitness instructors with Holy Cross Senior Source, will speak and answer questions, and spend about 20 minutes leading exercises.
